Why does my computer need to be maintained?

Aside from basic cleaning, the hardware of your computer requires little maintenance. Unlike your car, which needs oil changes and scheduled maintenance, your computer has few moving parts, and most of those are sealed. However, your operating system manufacturer likely releases updates. Some updates simply add features to your system. Others patch holes that hackers can use to access your data or load viruses on your computer.

Your software may also have upgrades available. We can show you how to handle both, or we can arrange regular checks to ensure you have the most up-to-date information available.
